If the British people allow a Digital ID system to be introduced then, frankly, they deserve to collapse into oblivion. Partly, this is because such a system will have very few benefits and numerous downsides in terms of the ability of the government to watch everything you do. But the main reason it cannot be tolerated in Britain is that Britain is not Britain anymore, it is the Yookay.
