Sowell is a very smart man. His book Wealth, Poverty, and Politics is excellent and I recommend it to all intellectuals I come across (a rarity these days). But even in that book, he is a partial apologist for blacks, explaining that despite having a 30,000 year head start on Europe, the reason Africa is still so far behind is because of geography, e.g. non-navigable rivers and no good natural harbors, geography that he claims Europe has a distinct advantage with. While these facts may be true, if you exchanged the entire population of white Europe with the entire population of black Africa today, what would happen? In 50 years Europe would be a wasteland, and Africa would be prosperous, you can bet on it. So, sorry Mr. Sowell, Genetics & IQ >>> geographic disadvantages.
