I almost dread watching new mainstream films because I know that they will be socially and historically inaccurate; and not so simply to make them more dramatically enticing. Rural Wales will be multiracial, for example. In fact, even rural Wales in the 1930s will have black coal miners and nobody remarks upon this; it will be portrayed as completely normal. Some years ago there was even a black actress playing Anne Boleyn.
