Another good insight video by Professor Dutton, reaffirming that nature >>> nurture. What he didn't say here, but I'm sure he knows well, is that IQ is inversely correlated with criminality, and that there are clear racial differences in IQ. You do the transitive property math.

At 5:16 he says "Criminality is basically a problem that cannot be solved" -- I believe he means "...cannot be solved with policy changes." And I agree with that. In his books and in another video, he talked about how execution for criminals in the past was strongly eugenic, not just in that it disincentivized crime, but that it actively removed criminality genes from the population. There is a free market solution to do that today: https://childfreebc.com/candidates/ - private, voluntary, and strongly EUGENIC. In theory, if we all donate there, we could sterilize the world's entire underclass. I would very much like to see what Professor Dutton thinks about this service.

Nice insights. Another thing to look at is opportunity and deterrence. I’m guessing nobles were less likely to be stopped by local constabulary and subject to fewer and less harsh punishments.
