Author, speaker, and award-winning Writer/Director/Producer Mark Vicente is one of the subjects of the HBO Documentary Series, The Vow, which follows members who joined the “self-improvement” cult NXIVM – whose leader was convicted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, among other crimes. His memoir: ‘QUEST’ or ‘How the BLEEP Did That Happen?!’ chronicles the many untold stories of what occurred in NXIVM and his and his wife’s harrowing campaign to escape and expose the organization. Additionally, he is in production on ‘Empathy Not Included’, a documentary about malignant narcissism which exposes abusive strategies.
Also, Mark was part of the creative team behind the sleeper hit “What The Bleep Do We Know?!” and is the host of the “WTF is on My Mind” podcast.
